Has there been any word of a CO State this year? A few of us from up North are wondering because we heard a rumor. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Possibly pass along some contact info...

I posted in another thread...but I'll post again...Mary said she'd have one if they or someone could find a venue. They said late fall... the venue has to be near airport...willing to provide ballroom for no cost (just getting room revenue) and rooms rate between 69-99 a night. I told her I'd help but work has me too busy. If anyone has a line on or a freind at a hotel that may fit that description, please let Shelly, Mary, or myself know. The sooner the better if they are going to have time to promote.

This would be great. I know a few players from SD would be excited to go to this and I am sure the NE players would come over too. Has anyone decided to take control of this and get it done?

The latest scoop I heard was an independant group here was lookin to put it together, but were saying at a bar of gameroom venue, and targeting fireball for the table. Also the purse would prolly be 8k or less, maybe a 5 grander

A 5-8 grander would be cool. I know some people from SD and NE that would come... I would love to have a state tournament to go to that doesn't require me to get on a plane.

It will be posted and flyers sent out as soon as something is put together, hopefully it's a bigger purse but on short notice it's hard to pull that off without takn a loss.

Are there any updates for the dates on this state tournament yet? There are a fwe here in my state that are wanting to make some plans to attend but they need to know dates. Anyone have an update?
