Todd had one too many drinks started getting pissed because he was losing to me in the finals. First game, I 5-0 him in about 2 minutes with clean shots from the 3,5, and 2 bar. The whole time he was calling all of my shots "weak." lol...I scored a gorgeous hook on his to start off the game. A quick pk on the 3. And 3 awesome longs from the back.
After he scored the first point in the second game, he started talking some more...and people came over to watch. I told him if he wanted to put $20 on the game, then let's do lol...he totally backed down, but still kept talking.
I'm winning 4-2, and he gets the ball on his 3 bar, and says he'll put $20 on this shot. This time I was the one not taking the bet, just because with 1 shot, anything can happen. JK was watching, and talking trash too, telling him to just play...so Todd and JK get into it. JK was cracking me up because when you're losing, how much can you really talk. JK says he'll bet $20 that I'll beat him that game too, but he refuses. :P So he scores, and I get the ball while they are going back and forth. JK gets up and is like..."Scott is just going to pass and score on you on this drop." Todd just ignores him...I pass a hard brush up, and push kick to the long hole before he even reacts. :-)
Him and JK keep it up...Todd wants to take JK outside....JK is all for it. I think everyone wanted to see a fight *cough*TIM*cough*...Todd pulls a knife...lol..gawd...wtf...luckily he didn't get too crazy. Fun drama. :P A few minutes later, him and JK are shaking hands.

lol...I know! I busted out one roller on hil last night I think, and still somehow I'm a wuss. Whatever! I threw in some tic tac shots he couldn't do if he practiced them for an hour...but because they weren't a set pull, they're weak.
And then he shot with the 2 rod, it spun...and we both relaxed because the ball was going to be mine...then it banked and rolled slow into my goal, and Todd acts like it wasn't a spin. If you have to ASK "did you think that was a spin?" IT IS A SPIN! Then he kept trying to give me a guilt trip throughout the whole match for calling him on it. I almost gave in just to shut up him because I would beat him anyway, but to hell with that...

Hey Leo....you game is looking a bit better. More disciplined...d is getting smarter. You definitely need a 5 bar clinic though, and take your time with your 2 rod. Maybe we can get together before a tourney sometime, and I can help you out with your 5. It really is low percentage the way it is now...but once you get a good series, and stick with it, your whole game will get better becuse you'll get more opportunity to score.

A basic law in goal is to never let someone score the same shot twice in a row. Someone scores 2 longs, you make them go short. Etc Etc.
Same with the 5 row. You find thier strongest pass, and take it away. MAKE them execute the harder passes.
Like Brian. His best pass is the wall. He's also got a few tells to his wall. So I MAKE him go lane everytime, and since it's slower...it's easier to get a piece of it. Gotta key in on things like that in order to give yourself a chance. If someone gets 3 walls in a row...no way should they be getting anymore.
Plus...walls usually look different. Some people tic tac it differently than other passes in thier series. Pick up on how they move it around before they pass.
Just like each time someone scores. Don't say "oh well. nice shot." Say: "Hmmm..why did he shoot that hole...what pattern was I giving...why was he able to time that."

You don't need to have a series exactly like someone elses...but you still really need to have a certain series where you can do fast passes hard enough to get through buzzing D's. Just a few tips and stuff, and you can alter your 5 just a bit to make it really effective. You don't wanna end up like Tim THEXBITCH...and have a bunch of gimmick passes strung together :P
You're just showing some potential now, so just fine tune your game a bit, and it'll really take off.
