So Joe, when are we going to team up and take a SPD title?
What tournaments are you going to in the next 6 months or so? I will be at CA states, KY, AZ states, and NM states if they have another one. |

Dunno yet...
Planning on going to the NYO in Tulsa, and definitely going to AZ State.
Other than that, KY is not out of the question, and any other tournament that happens to pop up i'll probably go to. Planning on having a busy year this year. |

Hey Joe are planning to play with Greg Smith at the NYO in Tulsa? If I go to Az
states do want to play rookie doubs with me you semi-pro. Greg Whiting(new mexico states 2001) and Arron Tong(arizona states 2001)both did it so i think you or Watson should be able to also.

You did not answer my question, unless the "dunno" was your answer to me.
BTW, I like to lock in my partners well in advance of a tournament, so I will be looking to lock in AZ by New Year's. The clock is ticking. I WILL win the SPD title there, so if you want to come along for the ride, let me know. |

When is AZ?
What are the payouts for SP?
What are the entry fees?
If I can get a ride down there and a place to stay CHEAP, I might go. My 5 is smokin lately, and even though I'm working on my pull, I'm secretly using zen meditation with my practice to get my roller push side back up to par. I'm probably going to bust it out in a week or two when everyone thinks my roller is a has been. :P

Well, for the NYO, I don't know who I am playing with yet.
As for AZ, I am playing with Greg Smith unless a freak act of nature happens.
If you have any other tournaments that you are going to be going to, let me know, maybe we can hook up at one of those.

That does answer my question, Joe.
I will be at CA States playing OD with Dan Sloan (most likely) and either Chuck Moore or Dan Tyvoll in SPD.
AZ States will probably be Chuck or Dan T. for SPD, and unknown for OD.
KY, I think I am playing with Todd Thomas in Amateur Doubles, Chuck Moore in Rookie Doubles (yes, Tim, I can play rookie in KY, waaahh, guess you are not going!), and unknown for Expert and Open.
In Vegas, I am playing with Kevin O'Neill in SPD and have not locked in a partner for OD.
How's that for a rundown? |
